Changes to Proposed Development at 1815 Montreal Road
The proposed development for 1815 Montreal Road — originally a 9-storey building — has been replaced by a proposed 21-storey building with a 4-storey podium.
191 residential units are planned, with 141 parking spaces, 18 visitor spaces, and 156 bike parking spaces. We were told by Fotenn, the project consultants who were also the consultants for the 26-storey tower at 1649 Montreal / 741 Blair Roads, that the plans for this 21-storey building are consistent with City and Official Plan policies, based on Fotenn’s interpretation of the decision by the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) on the 26-storey building to be built at 1849 Montreal / 741 Blair Roads. A virtual public meeting was promised by the developer, but as of yet we've received no word as to when that might be.
