TOWER DEVELOPMENT: First Appearance Before Ontario Land Tribunal Scheduled for October 6
A Case Management Conference for the developer-applicant's Appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) will take place on October 6.
As previously reported, City Planning Staff prepared a Report for consideration by Ottawa's Planning Committee and Council. The Report did not support the developer's application for a 26 storey tower at the corner of Blair and Montreal Roads, where zoning currently allows for a maximum of 9 storeys.
Ottawa's Planning Committee unanimously voted against the application at its meeting of September 8, as did City Council when it met on September 21.
The RHPOA, along with a majority of local residents, oppose this application.
The RHPOA plans to participate on the OLT Case Management Conference on October 6. CLICK HERE for more information.
