NCC Weekend Bikedays are Back!
Beginning May 10, the Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway will be closed to motor vehicles on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and reserved exclusively for active use such as cycling, running, inline skating and walking.
The closure extends from Aviation Parkway at the west to St. Joseph Blvd. at the east.
As before, this year's NCC Weekend Bikedays program extends to closures of other NCC Parkways in the city as well as in Gatineau Park. These car-free roads are an enormously popular and great way to experience the beauty of Canada’s Capital Region in a fun, safe and environmentally friendly fashion.
The program includes long weekend Mondays, up to and including Thanksgiving Monday.
