A Case Management Conference for the developer-applicant's Appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) will take place on October 6. 

As previously reported, City Planning Staff prepared a Report for consideration by Ottawa's Planning Committee and Council. The Report did not support the developer's application for a 26 storey tower at the corner of Blair and Montreal Roads, where zoning currently allows for a maximum of 9 storeys.

At its meeting of September 8, Planning Committee supported the recommendations of the city Staff Report by unanimously voting to reject the Application for the proposed 26-storey tower at Blair and Montreal Roads.   

Today, Ottawa City Council also voted to reject the Application.
