2024 HERITAGE GRANT PROGRAM FOR BUILDING RESTORATION | New Application Period
Applications for the City of Ottawa's 2024 Heritage Grants for Building Restoration will be accepted from October 9 to December 8, 2023.
Property owners of buildings designated under Part IV (individually-designated heritage properties) or Part V (properties in Heritage Conservation Districts) of the Ontario Heritage Act are eligible to apply for matching restoration grants of up to $10,000 for small-scale buildings.
In the case of individually-designated properties, the property's character-defining heritage attributes, as described in the Statement of Reason for Designation, should be the top priority for restoration. In the case of properties within Heritage Conservation Districts, grants are awarded for exterior restoration and only contributing properties are eligible.
For more information, questions and/or details regarding grant applications, visit the City of Ottawa website or contact Heritage Planner Taylor Quibell at taylor.quibell@ottawa.ca or 613-580-2424 ext. 74708
